Forget football Murray is playing the game of his life

Murray is two sets up against Nadal in the US Open, even if he loses the writing is on the wall -Murray to win a grand slam next year.

I don't think the rain break will do him any favours, but Murray is a special player and could easily be world no.1 within a year or two.

I don't enjoy tennis, but more than that i detest Murray. He like so many Scots can hardly contain his anti-English success agenda.

Oh well! Murray certainly has his supporters in New York and it would be great to see a Great Britain player in a Grand Slam Final.
NY -Murray was looking a bit weary as the humidity was at 85% so the break might favour him, as it will be like starting a new match, with him knowing that he has to win one set out of possible three

I can't begin to tell you how horribly humid it was here yesterday - it would have worked to Murray's advantage as Nadal's top spin was stifled in the thick air. It's nice and fresh this morning though.

Oddly, they are going to continue their match on a different court to the one they started it on - I wasn't sure that was allowed.

According to todays papers plans for a roof at Flushing Meadow are already underway. It does seem ridiculous that a Grand Slam semi-final will take more than 48 hours to finish. Switching courts I also thought that was not allowed.

That's because they try to cram as much into the final weekend as possible.

I'm not a big fan of Murray but did find myself cheering him on yesterday. Will be tuning in later.

Im not really a great fan either but I am starting to warm to him. A similar personalty might be a certain Nick Faldo nobody liked him but he was a winner
